  • Salary while in the Academy: $26.55/hr. ($55,436.40)
  • Salary upon graduating from the Academy: $27.24/ hr. ($56,877.12)

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old prior to graduation from the Academy.
  • Be physically and mentally fit.
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • No Felony convictions.
  • No Misdemeanor convictions within 3 years prior to appointment.
  • No domestic violence conviction.
  • No excessive traffic citations.
  • Have not been dishonorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces.

Fitness Test

  • Agility Run - 23 Seconds or less
  • Push Ups - 15 or more reps in 1 minute.
  • Sit Ups - 20 or more reps in 1 minute
  • 300 Meter Run - 70 seconds or less
  • 1.5 Mile Run - 17 Minutes or less
